  1. Option to export order information in .csv or .txt formats

    We would like the option to export order information from StoreFeeder in either .csv or .txt formats, rather than the default Excel (.xlsx) format.

    The Excel version can apply unnecessary formatting to certain fields, which can cause issues when processing through our back office systems.

    An example would be Scottish flat addresses where customers enter the numbers as "19/4", and then Excel defaults this into a date format.

    .csv or .txt file formats would not add any unnecessary formatting and preserve the original order data.

  2. Improved Packaging Sizes

    I would like more granular control over the packaging sizes. We use a whole range of packaging from polythene mailing bags, bubble bags to double-wall cardboard boxes. That said, not all these packaging materials are suitable for all items.

    An idea to achieve this could be packaging groups. These groups are their own list of packaging sizes which can be assigned to a product to restrict the packaging size progression to a set of packaging materials.

    This way when multiples of an item are ordered we can choose the exact packaging sizes it must follow. For example, we can restrict…

  3. Add "SKU" into Rule Builders

    I think it would be really beneficial to be able to add a SKU into a shipping rule.
    At the moment, we have to use "Hazardous Product" tick box to get some rules specific to certain products.
    They are not Hazardous, but it's the only way so far.

    If we can select a SKU and create a specific shipping rule for that 1 product or more, that would be cool.

    Hi Linda,


    we are looking at both adding extra options into shipping rules where we can and also potentially replacing them with much more flexible order processing rules and will be able to do much more than simply set a shipping method.


    In the mean time is Ian suggested you should be able to do this by tweaking your packaging sizes.

    On the order status for orders. It would be good to have an option for pre orders so they don't get confused for OOS orders that would need to be cancelled.

    thanks for your suggestion.  Rather than new statuses we are looking at adding the ability to use "tags" on orders on the V3 page to categorise them.  This allows more flexibility than just a fixed set of statuses.


    This will allow you to do what you need and be able to filter for that "tag".

  7. Manifest Functionality

    It would be very beneficial for the manifest section to have the ability to see the average weight of selected Royal Mail products. I.E you could select all large letters and see a 'total' average weight for the pickwaves selected. At present there is no total average weight displayed just the individual order weight. This feature works very well in the Linnworks software

  9. Ability to Exclude Order Channels from 30/60/90 day Sales Figures

    Hello, we use certain order channels to hold, move or donate stock. However, these figures are all contributing to our 30/60/90 day global sales figures. Our buying team then buy more of these items as it looks to them as if they are high sellers when in reality we are simply giving this stock away. Please could we exclude certain channels from these figures as effectively they are not sales.

  10. Being able to split kit components into multiple orders

    I sell a lot of kits which are made up of multiple components. For example a boat cleaning kit, with 10 items weighing 7kg. Or 4 items weighing 2.5kg.

    To send this via Royal Mail internationally I need to split some components into a new order. The system doesn't currently allow this though because it's a kit.

    This means I have to manually delete each item of the order, and then manually add each item back onto the order and allocate the correct price to it. It's really slow and faffy not being able to use the "split into new…

  11. Order Export Template - Average cost price for kit products

    When running a report from the orders screen - export order information - there is no option to have the average cost for kit products on the template - only "product cost" - How can you work out profitability with no cost prices on the kit orders? A VERY manual process.

  12. End special price when inventory drops to specified level

    Currently special prices are controlled only by dates. However when we have too much stock on some SKUs, it would be hugely helpful to be able to place products on special price until the stock drops to a specified level, at which point the special price would end.

  13. Item Options - Don't remove from view after dispatch

    Personalisation from Etsy and Shopify orders pull through to the 'Item Options' section on each product line on the Order Page. Whilst this is okay as we have added a section on our invoices to display this Item Options information, once the order is dispatched on StoreFeeder this box disappears and you cannot see the info.

    We then have to either 'reprint' the invoice to load it and see what details were written, or we have to search for this information directly on Etsy/Shopify. This is time consuming and seems unnecessary.

    It would be great if the personalisation was pulled…

  14. Clearer notes from website orders on Shopify

    Currently customisation details from Shopify pull through into the 'item Options' on the order, and it displays (x1) at the end of every line. It does not look like this on Shopify.

    It would be great if this could be removed as it makes our orders messy.

    Additionally on Shopify you can amend the packing slip to only show relevant product information, it would be great if we could do the same on StoreFeeder (to remove unnecessary lines), or alternatively to have the ability to print our Shopify packing slip directly from StoreFeeder, or via a link on the Orders…

  15. Reordering the search bar results show 'newest to oldest'

    The search bar is great for finding results quickly, however when I search for customer names it displays the oldest order at the top first.

    When the customer has a lot of orders, I always have to click into 'View All' on the orders to take me to the order page, in order to see the most recent order.

    It would be helpful if the results could be reordered with the most recent order at the top, as this is usually the result I am looking for (for example if customers call up asking about an order they placed, it…

  17. Ability to archive a product to a date

    It would be great if you could 'archive' a product to a date so for example, we may have a product that is out of stock until 1st September 2023, we therefore don't want to keep seeing it on the Purchase Order daily and removing it/writing it off so it would be great if you could set the 1st September 2023 as a date for the item to unarchive/become available again. This would then allow a level of automation for out of stock products and seasonal products that you may want to hide for a period of the year then…

  18. Sales reports that capture the cost price at the time of purchase

    I run sales reports to calculate profit but the report I download only captures the cost price at the time of the download and not at the time of the purchase. Our prices fluctuate weekly depending on our suppliers, this prevents me from getting an accurate profit margin on each line.

  19. Import payment info from Shopify to Xero on new orders.

    Orders are exported to Storefeeder and on despatch an invoice is sent to Xero

    Currently a manual process is required to either match a PayPal payment to the invoice or to add a payment if paid via Shopify payments. (We have multiple stores, so need to get the payment on the correct store)

    On a previous system I used, the payment type/amount etc would be exported to Xero and then when the order was despatched it would tie up with the invoice and a 1 click of the "ok" button.…

  20. User Permissions to Disable Text Input on Barcode Dispatch page for New Staff

    We seem to have a recurring problem with new staff thinking they know better , and they "copy and paste" product skus or barcodes into the input box on the barcode dispatch page rather than scanning the products barcode. This can result in wrong products being dispatched.

    If this was an option we can turn on per user, then we can ensure that only the experience staff / team leaders can do this. In the event that the new staff member has a product that doesn't have a barcode on it or that can't be scanned, then the team leader…
