Scan location - make skus in order
When you scan a location on the app, it brings up all the skus in that location. However, it doesn't bring the products up in sku order.
We have some small items that are stored in sku order inside a box that's allocated to a single location. When working at location level, it's hard to find the item you want to work on on the scanner, as it's not in any particular order.

Add Amazon Default Values For Listing Creation
It would be great if Amazon also had a Default Values section just like eBay so that when uploading a certain product you can have most of the generic default values automatically populated to save time and reduce errors.
8 votesThanks for your suggestion.
We are currently updating to Amazons new listing APIs which should allow us to do this. Using the current submission method its not easily done.
This work is going to take us some time so wont be started until we are uing the new API.
Thanks,

Ability to relocate SKUs in bulk on the app by scanning (either bay or list of products)
We know we can do this on the computer by making a note of SKUs to move, but when stock taking or relocating SKUs to a new location it would be great if you could scan a whole bay barcode, or scan a list of products to move to new location in bulk from the app.

Adding Stock Value To Stock Take Approvals/Reports For Adjustments
We've recently started using the app for stock taking which sends the reports to the Stock Take Approvals Report to sign off (a bit easier to see adjustments in bulk than the app, as where a 0 adjustment is it doesn't really need approving). However, we noticed nothing shows the value of the stock adjustment when a positive or negative stock take has occurred.
Currently we ignore small adjustments and put this down to errors with picking usually. However, this doesn't consider the value of the products being ignored. Being able to see this would allow our management to prioritise…

Add "SKU" into Rule Builders
I think it would be really beneficial to be able to add a SKU into a shipping rule.
At the moment, we have to use "Hazardous Product" tick box to get some rules specific to certain products.
They are not Hazardous, but it's the only way so far.If we can select a SKU and create a specific shipping rule for that 1 product or more, that would be cool.
20 votesHi Linda,
we are looking at both adding extra options into shipping rules where we can and also potentially replacing them with much more flexible order processing rules and will be able to do much more than simply set a shipping method.
In the mean time is Ian suggested you should be able to do this by tweaking your packaging sizes.
Thanks,

It would really help us if on the picking tab we had a little drop down menu for post codes just like we have for product SKU.
On a Monday morning we have to sort by postcode and go down through every order to find duplicate orders that have not been picked up by store feeder.
Seeing which postcodes have more than one or two orders would be really helpful and save us time here
Thanks

Shopify POS be distinguishable / have "POS" as the shipping method
Shopify POS be distinguishable / have "POS" as the shipping method.
At the moment, when a Shopify POS order pulls into StoreFeeder it has "Default Shipping" as the shipping order. It would be good if it said "POS"
Stewart has said "I have spoken to the team about this and the only way to distinguish these orders in StoreFeeder is to check the addresses of the orders as they are imported. POS order will be missing address information"(Inflatex/RIBstore's ticket 63556)

Assign multiple skus to one product
Hi,
Currently we can only assign one product SKU to a product, however sometimes a supplier can give a product multiple SKUs. ie they may have a main product sku, then a separate sku for the item as an FOB order, or the item in mail order packaging. The only way we can deal with this currently is to put both skus in the SF sku field. This is fine, until we come to upload a new purchase order from the supplier, which only has 1 of the 2 skus down as it's product sku, and as such, it means…

EPOS add customer name instead of person making the order
When taking payment for Goods over a trade counter have the ability to Enter a Name (Customer Name) so they have a personal receipt and we have a record of what item they have purchased.
Currently the username of the person signed into Storefeeder gives no permanent record and some businesses that purchase from the Trade counter require a better solution that us writing their company name on the receipt so they can put through their accounts and reclaim VAT

To be able to see a separate statistic on the dashboard and also on warehouse picking stats - being picked. But for this to be how many are left to pick as per the app we use for picking.
You can see on open pickwaves on picking screen started picking and finished picking and also picked units. So these analytics in some better stats table on dashboard or stats would be great.1 vote -
Streamlined Kit/Bundle Product Creation in StoreFeeder
Objective
To enhance the efficiency and user experience in StoreFeeder by allowing the creation of kit/bundle products directly from the product view.
Current Process
Currently, creating a kit/bundle product involves:
Selecting "New Product."
Manually adding each component, addition, and swap to the new product.
This process is time-consuming and requires considerable manual input.
Proposed Enhancement
Introduce a feature in the product view that allows users to create a new kit/bundle product by selecting existing products and using a "New Product" option.
This will:
Enable selection of multiple products directly from the product view.
Automatically assign the selected products as components…

Tags and Attention Messages in Shipping Rules
To improve the efficiency and clarity of our packing process, we propose an enhancement to the shipping rules within StoreFeeder. This feature would allow for the automatic assignment of custom tags and the insertion of "Attention Required Messages" to orders, particularly benefiting our unbranded boxing service.
Our service includes an option for customers to choose unbranded boxing as their shipping method. This choice is crucial for ensuring the correct packaging process is followed. However, once orders are imported into StoreFeeder, the visibility of this option is lost, leading to confusion among packers.
Proposed Solution:
1) Custom Tag Assignment: Enable shipping…

Import Product Metafield data from Shopify
Many of our products are utilising product metafields in Shopify (e.g. electrical equipment with lots of detailed specification)
We need this data to be imported from Shopify to Storefeeder and also have the ability to export to other Shopify shops
We would like Storefeeder to be one centralised product database (a single version of the truth) for our products, but it's not capable of this currently

Adding Production Timings to Products
Around 95% of our items are personalised and made to order. It would be useful for us if we could input the time it takes to make each item on the product. Then when we come to make our pick waves it could add a 'total time it would take to make these items' field.
This would be helpful for us so we could see how long our orders should take for the day, and we could then plan better accordingly.

Add "Storefeeder Product URL" to product export
So we can create a clickable link to the Storefeeder product page in spreadsheets. Alternatively, export ProductGUID so we can construct the URL ourselves.

Notification when a backorder is received into the system
It would be useful when a backorder is pulled into the system that a notification is sent via email as these can sometimes be missed and we've had a few cases where a product has oversold on a channel due to delayed stock updates but no one has realised
8 votesHi,
thanks for your suggestion. We are looking at a better solution for these sorts of issues. Rather than notifications that often get ignored\missed we are looking at specific dashboards for user roles that are more suited to the information they are looking for.
You can also use saved filters on the orders grid to easily look for back orders in the system.
Thanks,

Use Images as a filter
If you could filter products by if they had an image or not would be quite useful.
This would help with product creation as it adds another method to find particular products that may have titles, descriptions, etc already created but no images currently.

Allocating stock from specific warehouse or warehouse zone
Using the RestAPI create-orders, it would be really useful to be able to specify a warehouse or warehouse+zone on the CreateOrderModel object to force the stock allocation process to focus on bins in a specific warehouse or zone.
At the moment allocation seems to be fairly free to pick from any pick bin that the product sits in.
I am aware of the allocate-orders endpoint that can do this after the order has been created but it feels cleaner to be able to specify this during order creation.
We have a situation where we service two customers and their bins…
