Control of inventory updates at an individual listing level
This mainly applies to selling on Amazon.
Currently, inventory updates can only be switched on or off for all listings on the entire channel. I have come across a situation where I may only want updates for specific listings on a particular channel but not on others.
Like many other sellers we now use Amazon's "Build International Listings" function to automatically push out offers from our UK (master) account to our EU accounts. This function includes an inventory sync across the connected channels, which means we use SF to control AmUK which intern controls all of our AmEU channels. This all works perfectly for the same product (SKU / ASIN) across the different channels, however if we have listings on any EU channel that are not on UK, then we cannot inventory update those unique listings without switching on the inventory updates for the entire channel.
In a similar way that the repricer can be switched on or off per listing, I propose it would be a good idea to have a switch that can turn the inventory updates to that listing on or off. This should be an attribute that can be controlled via a bulk import / export
Hi Matt,
you can achieve this by setting the "Controlled By StoreFeeder" field in the listing import\export.
thanks,
