A way to give a supplier a status of either Active or Inactive. A bit like a 'discontinued button' for suppliers.

If inactive, this would remove the supplier from your 'select a supplier' drop down when making a purchase order. Once active status is set again, supplier would reappear in the drop down.

Deleting the supplier would remove it from the drop down but the supplier details would be lost. This way it keeps supplier details and history on system intact and cleans up supplier drop down saving have to sift through 'inactive suppliers' on a daily basis.
