Hi,
We’re looking at a way to “flatten” products so everything is a simple but with options to make product groupings similar to variants at the moment. But with the ability to have products in multiple groupings.
This is a complicated change so it’s been in the works awhile but we’ve been steadily making progress so hopefully we’ll have more news on this soon!
Thank you,

Hi Amit,
this can be done using "Product Attributes". These are on a PRODUCT level, not listing level, which confused me too.
1. Add all the item specifics you need to the PRODUCTS you're listing on eBay. These are Freetext fields, so you'll still have to look up valid values on eBay.
2. Then under the eBay Integration settings, go to "eBay Item Specifics" and create a new template for your product category.
3. Then map the "Product Attributes" to the relevant "Item Specifics". All the "Product Attributes" you added to Products will appear under the "Custom Attributes" heading.
It's confusing due to the terminology being different on every screen, but it allowed us to do bulk updates of item specifics on our products, once the mappings had been setup.
Storefeeder team - perhaps consistent naming would help a lot of users.
The "Product Attributes" in Products are called "Custom Attributes" in eBay settings + they are not the same as the "Product Attributes" in the Product attribute manager.
