Upload product images via URL
It would be useful if we could upload product images via URL (Like in the Shopify admin) rather than uploading a file from a PC.
3 votesHi Philip,
there are no plans to allow this on the current pages. But it is something we will consider for the V3 rewrite of the product page as we are looking at how we can improve image management as a whole.
Thanks,

Graph of product revenue over time on the Orders tab of the Product record
On the Orders tab for a Product, it would be massively helpful to be able to see a graph of revenue generated by that SKU over the last 12 months - to give us that sense of whether sales are seasonal, driven by promotions etc. Currently we have to switch to another reporting tool for this, but since the order data is already there it feels like this would be an easy addition.
2 votesHi Dave,
thanks for your suggestion. This feature is already planned for when we release the v3 version of the product page. The new interface will we able to give you more insights into how your business is performing.
Please keep an eye on our product updates.

Increasing Audit Trail Records - Adding in Listing Audit Trail too
We would like to be able to see who created products, what lines were edited and what the previous figures were for certain areas. We noticed the Audit Trail keeps some records but is inconsistent and doesn't keep all records.
It would also be handy to see Audit Trails on Listings too.
2 votesHI Josh,
we are currently working on extra auditing and permissions so please keep an eye on our updates for more info.

Visible cost price from "products page" on a variation
It would be great to see the cost price on a variation listing from the products page. We currently have to click into the variant and on each individual child SKU to view the cost price. If all variants are the same cost (different colours etc.) we could easily see the cost price from the overview and if the child products are different costs it could show the lowest cost child SKU to the highest eg. "£49.95 - £69.95"
11 votesHi,
thanks for the suggestion. This is something that we are going to consider doing as part of the V3 update on the new product and listing pages. Work is due to be started on these in the next month or 2.

Visibility and Browsing Functionality for Simple Products Under Parent Product
We would like to request a significant enhancement to your product tab functionality which, in its current form, is limiting the ease and efficiency with which we can browse our stock.
Currently, simple products that are assigned to a parent product are hidden from view in the product tab. The only way to see these simple products is to toggle the plus sign and have the assigned product displayed. This design makes it challenging for us to quickly and freely browse our stock and get a glimpse of the item's details in the columns.
Our request is to have the…
4 votesHi,
thanks for your suggestion. Information like this is going to be much easier to view in our upcoming rewrites if the V3 product and listing pages. Work on these pages is due to start soon after completion of the orders page and grid.
Please keep an eye on our updates for details on when work is started on this.

Parent product images to update child images
If you go to parent product and on tab images, you can upload the default image for a parent, and can also upload child images and assign them to each size. But this does not reflect on the child product images tab.
It would be very handy if it did.4 votesHi,
the way we deal with images in its entirely is being looked as part of the StoreFeeder V3 update.
Please keep an eye out for updates.

Edit Variation Child Product Order
It would be useful to have a way to change the display order for the components of a variation product (and in turn the listings), so you could group all sizes, colours etc together in the dropdown list or perhaps promote seasonal designs to the top of the list. This would make it easier for a customer to see what they are looking for within a larger variation listing.
At the moment, the only way we can see to do this is to remove all options and re-add in the order you want.
6 votesHi,
thanks for your suggestion. It has come up a few times but with the current page its hard for us to implement.
We are taking this into account when thet pages are rewritten for v3.

Allow to enter links in product description
The wysiwyg editor needs a bit of an overhaul some basic functions such as link building need to be in place as it just takes time to add links in via html.
2 votesHi Richard,
thanks for your suggestion, we are aware the current editor is somewhat dated and recent browser security improvements had limited what it can do.
There isn't anything planned to update this one for the reasons above so when the v3 versions of teh pages are releasedit will use a more up to date solution.
Thanks,

Make 'Notes' more noticible
At the moment there is no way of telling if there is any notes in a product, they are not getting used because of it - they could be extremely helpful with a small update
Next to the 'Notes' option within the product, add '(#)' showing how many notes there are in the product between the brackets. So its obvious that the product has notes in.
Or
Adding a Notes column along the Manage Products page - similar to the archived column with the simple 'Yes' or 'No' to tell you if the product has notes or not
