Copy & paste Shopify tags
It would be useful if we could copy Shopify tags from one listing and paste them into another product or another listing tags.
Currently there is no way to copy them so they need manually typing in again

John is correct, you are able to paste multiple tags into a shopify listing using commas as the seperator. The string also needs to end in a comma for the system to recognise the last entry as a tag. So if you were to type this into any text editor
tag1,tag2,tag3,
You can copy that string and paste into the tags field on the listing and you will get 3 seperate tags.
I'll close off this idea.

customisation of reorder email
customisation of reorder email fields & the change of the frequency it sends out the email.

Be notified when a product in back in stock
We would like there to be an option on products for us to be notified when they come back into stock. This could be through a message in the top right hand corner of the dashboard or an email? This will allow us to let customers know when certain items have come back into stock.
2 votesUnfortunately this request has been turned down as we feel addming more notifications into the system will create extra noise.
However we are looking to add more specific dashboards that are more relavant to user roles so this may be included in the metrics provided on those. We are also adding new reports so perhaps this could included as a daily report you run.

Secondary confirmation for 'Archive' and 'Discontinue' Products
Just as you have done with the 'Delete' button, it would be handy if this could be added to the 'Archive' and 'Discontinue' buttons to avoid anyone accidentally clicking one of these and the item never being ordered again without someone physically checking to see if anyone has accidentally added an item to these categories.

thanks for the idea, unfortunately we are going to turn this one down as its failed to hit the 10 votes required for discussion and we feel that because archived products can be searched for and restored without intervention from support it doesn't need the secondary confirmation. We added this for delete as its a destructive action that a user cannot undo by themselves.

Enter a fixed Cost Price for Kit Products
We have products that we can buy individually for a certain price, but if bought together as a bundle, we receive a discount. Currently prices are calculated automatically (which is understandable), but it doesn't help me when I am calculating profit figures for Kit products.

Packaging Sizes - Auto Assign packaging Size Per Order
Currently assigning a packaging size works well if you are selling 1 item and not a lot of multi line orders.
We would like this to become much more comprehensive / accurate.
We have investigated using a service called 3D Bin Packing which allows you to enter the Dims of each item, quantity and your size of boxes(packaging sizes) and it works out the best Box size for the order based on the information provided.
This should then be displayed to the Packer on the despatch terminal so they can accurately pick the correct packaging size - First time, every…

Drag & Drop Image Loading
When creating new products you have to add images by selecting the green Add New Image button, then click Choose Files, find and choose the files on your PC and wait for them to load and then press Upload.
Other interfaces use the drag and drop in method for loading images, which means it's a much quicker process for the user. You can then have the required folder open outside of the interface and just drag them in, which is usually much quicker than the current StoreFeeder upload process with all the buttons.

its highly unlikely this will be implented in StoreFeeder currently. But a complete overhaul of how we deal ithe images in general will be come as part the upcoming updates as we migrate to the new version of StoreFeeder.

Auto Fill Product Harmonised Code
To have the "Product Type Description" field under the Customs section of Shipping & Handling as a drop down, which would auto fill the "Product Harmonised Code" field from what has already been entered for other products. This would save a lot of time, when creating products manually, instead of always having to look up the codes when we have already entered them into Storefeeder for similar products.

Discontinue Product
Option to add a discontinued product marker to the products which will then be excluded from purchase orders.
The work around we currently have is changing the SKU and adding Discontinued text to the end of the SKU so that our purchaser doesn't keep sending the same discontinued products to our suppliers.
The issue we face with this work around is the SKU is visible on customer email notifications and also Shopify displays the SKU to customer which isn't exactly customer friendly.

We are not planning on adding the option to flag products as discontinued. However, we do currently offer the option to mark your products as ‘archived’, which should be a good replacement.

Stock Location Transfers
"The suggested transfers page is based on your number of sales in the past 7 days against the amount left in the pickbin. So as you have not sold over 5 in the last 7 days it will not be suggested for transfer.."
Would be good to be able to add a transfer of an item that you know to be low manually

we feel the act of manually adding an entry to the suggested transfers page would be more work than either just doing the transfer or creating a pending transfer for a warehouse operative to pick up on the App.
So we wouldnt be looking to add that functionality at this time.

Product Description Presets/Templates and Handles
To have presets/templates and handles (for attributes values for example) on Product Descriptions tab so we reduce drastically the time typing and retyping descriptions for thousands of products everytime.
